The... read more location is beautiful and centrally located to all the well-known sites in the desert, to camel rides, and perfect sunset views (plus, the moon rising over the rock behind the camp). ROCK CLIMBERS COME HERE! It is ideal for all rock climbers - Eid knows how to get to all the rock climbs and he knows the beta (how long the climb will take, when the sun hits it, the approach, etc.). Eid also spent a day not only taking us to hidden, unknown sites with no tourists, he also knew the times to see the popular sites so that there were little to no people. The camp had beautiful tents, an amazing center tent for relaxing and eating, great food, clean showers and toilets. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Over the years, I had been in his camp alone or with friends, then with my husband and we definitely wanted to return with our children (9 & 14). He took us everywhere, off the beaten track when we requested, making us always feel safe and in good hands while exploring. The camp is great, the food too, the perfect mix of authenticity, simplicity and comfort. We spent three nights in his camp (very important to experience the desert at night !) - the kids absolutely loved it, such a unique experience ! We strongly recommend to stay as long as possible and take the tours that Eid offers as they allow for more time and in-depth discovery. This is a MUST, at least once in a lifetime, for anybody traveling to Jordan !
